Mission

“Your Best Shot” Leadership Camp will provide the necessary skills to develop and equip our future generation of aspiring leaders.

“My seventh grader had a blast at Your Best Shot Leadership Camp. He loved the games and engaging activities which boosted his confidence and self esteem. He wants to attend another session soon.
Definitely one of his best camp experiences.”

How did you hear about us? *

Does your child have what it takes to become a successful leader in high school and the future?

Every week we use new, fun and exciting activities to develop and practice leadership skills.  These activities include goal setting games, obstacle courses, blogging, building structures, creating their own games and scavenger hunts.  Students also participate in field trips and weekly cook outs!

“Your Best Shot” Leadership Camp is North Raleigh’s newest track out camp that is specifically designed for students in grades five through eight. The Leadership Camp curriculum will provide students with preparatory skills that will enhance their high school and college experiences.

“[My son] went to the seminar a little begrudgingly. When he came home he was thrilled that he had gone! He had a great time-said the leaders were all nice and that it was “fun and interactive.”
We are hoping to find a camp that works with his summer schedule!”

“If my children are any indication, Your Best Shot Leadership Academy, is going to have a bright future! Both [my sons] thoroughly enjoyed their time with you on Sunday and came home with a positive can-do attitude. They are excited to work towards the goals they set in the areas of Personal Growth, Athletics and Academics. They both indicated that the games and activities “were a blast” and they want to come back for a week of camp!
As a parent, I was extremely impressed with the 5-10 minutes that I caught at the end of the session.  Phil is a dynamic teacher who has clearly much experience and wisdom to share. His interaction with the boys was exceptional and he maintained every bit of their attention (which is not an easy feat with 12 year old boys!). It is clear that he is passionate about this age children and helping them to develop the leadership and life skills that will benefit them throughout life.
I have been sharing your website with friends and will continue to spread the word that Your Best Shot Leadership Academy is the “place to be”!”
